Case Linker · iPad & Mac

Your brief, fully linked.

Case Linker turns a static litigation brief into a document you can navigate by touch. It finds your exhibits, citations, and authorities and hyperlinks them to their sources automatically — so the work that used to take an evening takes minutes, and nothing leaves your device.

What it does

Everything that ties a filing together — handled.

Case Linker was built by a trial attorney around the parts of document preparation that are tedious, error-prone, and easy to get wrong under deadline.

Automatic hyperlinking

Case Linker scans your brief for references to exhibits, court decisions, a table of contents, and a table of authorities, then links each one to its target. Citations become tappable — and you get a report of every link it created, so you can review its work and fix any link individually.

Hyperlinked courtesy copies

Give the court a courtesy copy it can actually navigate. Every citation in a summary judgment motion or other exhibit-heavy filing jumps straight to the exhibit or record it references — so a judge or clerk moves through your filing in seconds.

Bates & exhibit stamping

Bates-stamp an entire production automatically, or stamp exhibits — first page or every page — with automatic sub-numbering. Originals are never altered; Case Linker writes clean, stamped copies.

Create litigation documents

Draft a litigation document in a block-based editor with headings, quotes, and lists, and generate a table of contents and a table of authorities automatically. Save your case caption and signature block once, then reuse them on your next document.

Presenter mode

Walk a witness, judge, or jury through documents on a courtroom monitor, with a built-in laser pointer, magnifier, highlighter, and instant blackout to control exactly when an exhibit is revealed. Your outline travels with you, and linked exhibits are a tap away.

Import & export anything

Bring in work from PDF, Word, plain text, or Markdown — as single files, whole folders, or zip archives, with your folder structure preserved. Export your folders and files back out as a zip whenever you want.

Documents know which one they are

Every case folder has an “Ex. 6.” Duplicate a case for a second witness and you have two of every name. Case Linker gives each document a permanent identity the moment it enters your library, and your highlights, bookmarks, and links point at that — not at a filename. Rename a file, move it, or copy the whole case: a mark never lands on the wrong document.

Your documents stay yours

Case Linker does its work entirely on your device. Privileged material is never uploaded to a server for processing. Privacy isn't a setting here — it's the architecture.

How it works

From flat PDF to navigable filing.

Step 01

Bring documents in

Import your brief and exhibits from Files, iCloud Drive, or your Mac. PDFs, Word documents, text, and Markdown are all supported, and folders import with their structure preserved.

Step 02

Let it link

Run the linkers. Case Linker detects citations and exhibit references, resolves them to the right page, and builds the hyperlinks — with an audit report so you can verify every link.

Step 03

Stamp, present, export

Add Bates or exhibit stamps, present in the courtroom, and export a single linked PDF whose cross-references work in any standard reader — or a zip of an entire folder.
