CloudBrew

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

CloudBrew is built to need as little from you as possible. It asks for your location so it can fetch your local forecast, and that is the extent of it.

What CloudBrew accesses

CloudBrew accesses your device's location for a single purpose: to retrieve the weather forecast for your area and to display the name of your current city within the app.

We do not collect, store, or transmit your location to our own servers. Location data is used on your device and passed to Apple's WeatherKit service to obtain your local forecast, in accordance with Apple's privacy standards.

How it is used

CloudBrew does not collect, store, sell, or share:

Third-party services

CloudBrew uses Apple's WeatherKit to provide weather data. Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Your choices

You can enable or disable location access for CloudBrew at any time in Settings, under Privacy & Security → Location Services. With location access disabled, CloudBrew cannot retrieve your local forecast.

Children's privacy

CloudBrew does not knowingly collect information from children. The app is suitable for general audiences and requires no personal information to use.
